NewTech Imaging Has Been Scanning Documents Since 1992

What is Document Scanning?

Document scanning is the process of converting paper documents into digital images. Documents being scanned for archival purposes can then be indexed according to your identifying criteria which allows for efficient searching and retrieval. If you are using case management software, we can create “load files” to enable the digital images to be imported into your software.

Why Scan?

Document scanning is beneficial because it:

  • Allows you to handle large document cases efficiently.
  • Retrieves documents quickly.
  • Reduces storage space.
  • Uses more than one identifying criteria (names, dates or numbers) unlike filing which uses just one.
  • Saves money by not having to pay for outside storage space.
  • Makes misfiled documents a thing of the past.
  • Easy to email or share documents.

Getting Started

  • Do you need software to view your documents?
  • Do you need searchable files/images?
  • Do you need a load file for Summation?

NewTech Imaging will work with you to determine the type of scanning that best suits your needs. This ensures your ability to use the scanned documents in the way that you planned.

The next step involves the examination of your documents as to their condition (lots of staples, small receipts, etc.) so that we can determine the amount of document preparation necessary.

What Does it Cost?

Two variables determine the price of scanning:

  • The condition and the size of the documents
  • The type of scanning you require

Our prices start at $.10 per 8˝x11 page. We can scan most anything from receipts and business cards to large documents up to 36” wide.

Document scanning eliminates the need for duplicate paper costs, which can be expensive. All you need is a copy of the CD when documents are scanned. Outputting documents from a CD is cost effective and allows easy searching to find the exact document you need to output.

We Can Do It All!

  • Scanning of documents and photos to CDs & DVDs
  • CD & DVD duplication
  • Making paper copies or “blowbacks” from your CDs/DVDs
